Thumbs up Bing Shopping list Firearms, ammo and Knives - All of what Google has Banned

I'm not really sure where this thread fits best. It is sort of a general announcement.

Recently Google Merchant Center Stopped accepting free ads so anything you see there now is actually a paid advertisement.

Low and behold, Bing Shopping owned by Microsoft. Does have a Free shopping portal and they do list Firearms, Ammunition and Knives. Their policy at least for now is if it's not illegal, the item can be posted.

This should not be confused with Bing/Yahoo adCenter also owned by Microsoft which are pay per click ads. Here you will not see ads for weapons or ammo, especially firearms.

Note: If your browser is already set to Bing as your default browser page these instructions my be slightly different.

To use the site, you have to be at your browser and type in: Bing in any Search Box on (not where you type a website URL address) in your browser. Once you are at Bingss home page, there is a black menu bar near the top.

Click on the word More. This will take you to a page that says Focus your search. Don't type in any product in the search box yet.

Find the shipping cart icon and the word Shopping. Click on the Shopping link.

Now you are at Bing's Free Shopping portal where you can search for any of your favorite stuff. This is where you type what you are looking for in the search text box.

For example: Type in the words > Walther PPQ. Now you should see a grid with pictures of the item from all stores and shops that have listed that product or anything related to it on bing, Items such as magazines for PPQ.

You can may you search as specific or as broad as you want. You can even type in the UPC (uniform product code) or the manufactures part or model number if you want.

Bing Shopping is all free listings so You are not getting jerked around by greedy ad publishers that rank stores on the basis of what they pay to bid for an item, not the actual lowest price or best place to buy from.

If you click on any of the items you will be taken to the store's website for that product listing. There you can check out the item in detail and buy from that website if you wish.

You can't actually buy anything on Bing. It is just a great pllace to search for guns, ammo and knives. There are also some helpful

tools in the left column to search by price or by category.

This portal is the ONLY remaining free price comparison shopping portal on the Internet I know of that displays Guns, Ammo and knives.

Everything else you see liste on the internet is an organic listing for a specific website or a paid ad.

Enjoy the Bing site while it still exists.

Would somebody tell me what the big deal is. They are not just not listing firearms. If it was just firearms I would be upset also. But they are not listing:

    Vehicles
    Guns, ammunition and knives
    Tobacco and cigarettes
    Traffic devices (Learn more)
Products related to casino and gambling
Products or digital goods that require additional software installation in order to be purchased.
Products bundled with service plans. (Note: The only products that are allowed to be submitted with a service plan are mobile devices.)

Services are not allowed on Google Shopping.
    Examples of listings disallowed:
    Event tickets
Subscriptions, such as magazine subscriptions or any kind of service subscription.
    Online courses

I don't see anybody ranting becasue they can not by NY Yankee tickets on Google shopping

If you don't use google or don't shop online for any of the stuff they banned it won't affect you.

Goole still allows Porn, so for some of you, I suppose it won't change anything.

For others, it is a big deal. What's not banned now costs advertizers for what was free. This is a major policy change, something that Google said they would not do when they filed their IPO with the SEC.

And adult toys...I get your point. I am upset that they want to ban any of it...not just firearms....but they can do what they want to do and we can shop elsewhere. And I still use google for searches and I don't see how it affect me finding places to order from. I just did a search for midway, go to the site and shop...
And some of don't order or watch porn online....
