My thoughts are that this isnít a directive from the Fond Du Lac police department themselves. But more some cops with maybe kids the same age or something and seen these videos and just donít approve and decided to take the things into their own hands by using the police department as muscle.

    This is scary!

This has made me decide to never, never want to go to or through Fond Du Lac. I just won't take that chance because I always go armed. Your Police Department scares the crap out of me. Now I have to wonder just who put out the order to the POs to give you a visit & a "talking to". The Chief? The Mayor? If you made any further inquiries I'm sure you'd only bring more heat on yourself. Maybe this should be brought up to the state level. At this time WI is very gun rights friendly.

Looking back I wonder what your PD would have done to me when I taught my son rifle & pistol marksmanship, martial arts w/weaponry (sticks, nunchuku, knives), surveillance (situation awareness), stealth - & now he's in the Milwaukee Police Academy after getting out of the Army as an Airborne Ranger. All of the training I gave him made him a better Ranger according to him & I'm sure it'll make him a better Police Officer. It gave him a never die attitude, never give up - persevere, ignore discomfort. Would your PD & their masters want us to make our kids weaklings & the rest of us unthinking, yielding sheep? If so then I'm very scared.

What sort of political affiliation does your mayor have?

Good luck & keep up the good work & hope you finish your quest to become a pastor.

I think that front porch conversation would have lasted all of a minute with me before I politely ejected the "visitors" from my property.

Big brother is always watching. When they try to pass laws to make the watching or listening legal we often think they aren't if they don't get 'permission' to do so. Don't bet on it!

He may have a nut case police dept but I also would not want to live next to him ether. Some very foolish achery with his kids telling them to hurry up ,last one to hit doesn't eat lunch. Really. Shooting at a stump and milk jugs too. I could wonder what his and there firearm skills are like. He does seem a bit out there him self.

Maybe we should bombard them with phone calls!

We don't know how his range is set up or what kind of back stop he has,Shooting at a round object isn't the smartest thing since you can get a ricochet, but if it's in front of a good berm that can stop a ricochet,I remember shooting at all kinds of stuff with a bow.As far as threatening to with hold lunch from the loser I seriously doubt he has ever done that, and it could be something he says a lot so they really aren't threatened by it just a little competition.
The main thing is he hasn't broken any laws and yest he has LEO's harassing him, like others have said if it's legal good video and audio in case he needs it for civil and or criminal proceedings

I've had a couple of Sheriff's units at my house one day because I was dove hunting on my property and a neighbor didn't like it because he thinks that meat is grown in a mass commercial garden then shipped to Burger King. I greeted them, showed them my hunting license and informed them if they had a hunting license and wanted to put a limiting plug in their shotguns, they're welcome to pull them out and join me as long as they were legal.

My point is, I know that LE has to do their jobs and check people out. This however seems to be an example of a person that is too timid to stand up for himself if he's doing nothing wrong. It would be a different story though if in one of his videos, he was seen doing something unsafe in their opinion and were concerned about the kids. I REALLY don't think that LE is in any way threatened by this guy. If so, they need to hire a whole new department.

I would hope they are just looking for law breakers, I would hate to think they would spend all that time reading posts to harass people who have already put themselves in a data bank that proves them to be law abiding citizens by getting their license to conceal.

yea that's fond du lac for you. that town is on an indian burial ground, ley line vortex or a portal to hell or something. take it from someone that grew up 20 minutes north of there.

i would liken the fpd more to "reno 911" than "the police state". oh, and the guys other videos? he's not exactly captain safety.
