    SA scenario for the traveler.

My son and I were traveling the western states in 2010 when we stopped for the night in Winnemucca NV. I poured myself a couple Old Forester Bourbons and fell asleep while my son watched the TV. We left Santa Cruz, CA that morning and made our way to Winnemucca Via Yosemite NP. I was wiped out. around 2AM my son wakes me up violently saying there is a crazy person in the parking lot trying to run people over and crashing into cars. I jump up (with just my boxers) grabbed the G19 and went outside to the balcony. I could not believe my eyes. Multiple wrecked vehicles and a Lexus sticking out of someones room on the first floor. I put my gun away and dialed 911. It appeared the elderly lady freaked out while driving. Onlookers were trying to say it was attributed to the then popular occurrence of gas pedal sticking in Toyotas. Impossible in this situation.

My point! I was so tired and had several drinks. I had no Idea and did not hear a thing. Who would ever expect something like this to happen. See pic below.

As I was leaving the next morning a citizen was asking the police if the dog was okay. Are you freakin kidding me? What about the people who were injured? One guy was pinned naked in his shower with a car in gear at high RPMs.

An elderly lady did all that? She had to have backed up at least once!

That's just the damage to the motel. She totalled at least 5 cars also. Now way it was her gas pedal, she would have dropped her tranny after the first gear change. She backed up at least four or five times. My rental barely escaped. Makes that extra insurance seem like a good idea!

Hm. In that scenario, I'd probably be screaming bloody murder. "Yii-eeeee! Psst, hey bud ... my pope-on-a-rope for that bath towel over there ..."

Interesting evening, at the motel. Gotta love travel.
