VIDEO: Shooting the World's Largest .45ACP Semi-Auto Handgun
It's a brick. It's the world's first and perhaps only crew-served .45ACP. You have to be about seven feet tall and weigh 400 pounds to conceal carry it. When you run out of ammo you can use it as a battering weapon.
It is, the one, the only, the world's largest .45ACP semi-automatic handgun, I present, the HK MK23!!
Anyone use one before? Here's the link to the video:

Those are on the largish side. Wonder if anyone seriously carries one concealed. Maybe in their golf bag.

Just going by the video it does not appear to be as large as a Desert Eagle. I don’t know if the shooter was fast with the slide release but it appeared that inserting a loaded mag automatically released the slide.

I seriously doubt anyone uses this as their all-season EDC!

If you smack a magazine in hard enough, it will cause the slide to release, same thing happens on my Glocks.

Some dude's going to get on here and state how he conceals a Mk23 in his Speedo.

I really didn't need that picture in my mind just after lunch!

Heckler & Koch - USA H&K MK23 Specs
You know, in any field of endeavor something is going to be the biggest. It's utterly asinine to post garbage like "crew served" and "use as a battering ram"
It's intended to be carried and used by SpecOp people in a thigh holster and serve as a platform for a suppressor as well as a variety of low light/no light devices.
It met the criteria for the bid process when nothing else came close.

Looking for the Specs on my para HI Cap OIF IX_X limited it is a 14+1 Double stack. I know it is hard to tell in a video but that just does not look that big. Measuring it out there is not much difference.

That's just not right, on so many levels!
Cool video. It doesn't look as large as I would have expected. Maybe that guy is really big so the pistol looks smaller in comparison.

Looked like it'd be a joy to shoot though I have no desire to own one.
