    Heritage Rough Rider .22 Revolvers

Does anyone have any experience with Hertitage Rough Rider .22s?

I really like the look and the feel of them but Im on the side of caution because of the price.

The one pictured is $175 and shoots .22LR and they have another that is simmilar but also comes with a .22 mag cylinder for $219. I honestly was not planning on buying another handgun any time soon but if they are worth the price I just might pick one up on friday.

    Thanks in advance

My father owns one I have personally put about 300 rounds through it. His is the convertible one with the .22lr and .22mag. The gun has had ton's and ton's of .22's through it with no problems. Based solely on that experience I have to say go for it.

I had one when I was about 13-14. I shot several of the cheap 550 rnd bricks of ammo through that thing with no problem.

Thanks for the responses, Im convinced. Ill probably spend the few extra for the LR/Mag convertable. Pay day is tomorow!

Do it, I have around 10,000 rounds through mine with 0 problems. Eventually I'll buy a Ruger Single Six/Ten but will still never sell the Heritage either. I made the mistake of getting the convertible LR/Mag one in the silver finish.... Just get the regular blued cheap one, much better value as I personally never use the mag cylinder and the silver finish wears off easily.
