Awesome day at the range.
Had a great day at the range. I got to shoot Sig P220, Sig P229, Sig P238, New Springfield XD Sub Compact 3" 45, S&W Snubbie Revolver and of course my Glock 19. Unfortunately it's too expensive to shoot my AR right now.
I was there with a couple LEO buddies of mine and we did some serious shooting. I enjoyed the Sigs but the triggers and trigger resets are quite different than my G19. I want a full size Sig but I can't get past the reset. The Sub Compact XD 45 was absolutely amazing and I want one now. I put 4 rounds in the same hole at seven yards; I'm not bragging just a testimony to the accuracy of the XD Sub Compact 45. I love this gun! The only drawback is it's 6 round capacity and need to carry 2 extra Mags to get me to my desired firepower preferences.
Have the Sig triggers always had this type of trigger resets? My old P230 was straight SA pull after the initial DAO!

Glad you had a good day at the range. I did the range Sunday matter of fact. Say.......you like a 45ACP, you like your G19. Trigger reset? Full size SIG? Well.......................... Can I make a request? I'd really like you to get back to me on this when you have the chance to shoot one. Find a SIG P220SAO to test and let me know what you think about the trigger reset and how it compares to your G19. I realize this might not be an easy task, but I think you'll be surprised. As usual when I recommend something.....you're always welcome here and I'll let you take mine for a spin. I'll even load the mags, and the first hundred rounds are on me.

Thanks for the offer, AR is one of seven states I have yet to visit. Could be a good weekend trip! The 220 I shot was DA/SA 10/4.5. I like it and it was smooth. I'm just used to the Ghost Rocket I have on my glock. I suppose several hundred rounds through the 220 would cure me of that.

I'm in the tri-state, too. Which range do you frequent if you don't mind me asking?

I thought the sub compact xd .45 held 13 rounds just as the 9 does - or are you talking of the XDs? I love how accurate my xd sc is and am constantly posting target pics on. Facebook lol. I can't wait to get my hands on a XDs!

Gotcha - sorry I got confused for a sec. How does the XDs handle? I've read the recoil isn't too bad for it's size. I was just telling my husband last night that's my next gun - he's giving me grief for wanting another so soon as my XDsc is only a few months old.

Recoil not too bad, need stronger left hand grip but the gun is awesome.
