Hey all you gun shooting enthusiasts!
I have a new Glock 21 that I am looking to make better. Any suggestions or thoughts. I currently have a quick detach laser and flashlight, that's it. I don't want to waste time modifying my Glock with substandard parts that will jeopardize the reliability of the gun as I use it for self defense. I was thinking about changing out the trigger since its such a long pull. Also, the slide lock release is annoying to try to push as my ackward fingers can't seem to press it down (might be user error or maybe its designed for smaller fingers?). I'm sure I will be asked this anyways so I'll answer right now to save time. I am looking to basically just make the gun comfortable, manageable, reliable, and easy to use when the adrehnaline and sweat start pumping (my hands get sweaty sometimes). Any input at all would be awesome. Also, I carry with Black talon ammo that a friend gave me (he still had some from before they quit making it), but I'm wondering...what's good ammo in .45acp? I keep seeing Gold Speer on any forum talking about 9mm's, thoughts? Also, FMJ, expanding rounds, flachettes, any of these worth it (application would be indoors CQB or downtown city ghetto (my dad has income property and I sometimes have to go down there). Thank you so much!
