Very nice examples of "old school." Never goes out of style.

Perhaps we can convince you to aim that camera at some of the rest of your wonderful collection? Ruger SP101, GP100, SW Model 41, Colt Official Police 38 4in and 6in, Colt Cobra 4 in ... I can just imagine you waking up on beautiful Saturday morning and thinking "Hmmm ... which one am I gonna strap on today? I think I'll choose that one."

Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it.

... you bein' a "KY Backwoods" sort, and all.

We see eye to eye on that score (about "woodsy," less-populated areas being finer). Give me a decent ~38oz 5in revolver anytime. Never met one I didn't like.

But the reference was just related to the normal state of affairs at the retail counters. Semi-autos have taken over most of the businesses, as has "plastic." Anyway, it's always good to see someone taking care of the beauties like they ought to be.

I know what ya' meant ccw. Deep blue & walnut make me feel all warm & fuzzy inside. I have S&W snubs in M10 & M12 variants.

Nah, you're doing fine. If you want some photographic inspiration, check P95Carry's threads. He's got the camera thang down pat.

    Two classics - well done!

Our resident wheelgunner and purveyor of gun porn (bmcgilvray) is away right now, but he'll be giving you a big thumbs up when he sees these!

    Thumbs up

'Nothing like old bluing and walnut. A little holster wear makes for perfection.

    Very nice.
