    I have an old MAB modle D and am curious if it will handle plus p ammo

    First, welcome to the DC forum!

    Next - the MAB is an oldie, with the last ones made in 1945. I wouldn't push the envelope by using anything but regular-pressure ammo in it, and I doubt it will even reliably feed anything other than FMJ. Shoot it and enjoy it, but there are new and better guns out there for defensive purposes.
