First thing came to my mind was throw away guns. But with economy being tough people just have to settle for what they can afford

I have to agree about the Glocks. They occasionaly offer what they call a shooters pack, a Gen 3 with 3 high cap mags and single pistol range bag for the cost of the Gen 3 (with normal amenities) anywhere else. I only turned it down because I didnt have money until after they ended the promotion.

Interesting. Wonder what people's purposes were for each. Many are "economy" guns but how many of us don't have some of them, for whatever reason? I'm interested in a Nagant because as smitty said its cheap to shoot and I see em all the time for around $100, is there anything inherently wrong with having non collector or "less" valuable firearm? Don't tell the glock owners!

I wouldnt mind having some cheap guns. Id spend $100 on something from Cobra even so long as it works. I wouldnt trust my life to it but at that price its a simple add to a collection gun. It just happens that I want the expensive guns to start my collection with.

I'm one of the guys who got the Nagant revolver. Definitely a neat piece of history. I bought 5 boxes of ammo for it, still have 4. I expect them to last a while...

Why so much hating on this list? I'm personally a huge Ruger fan (own 3) and never had an issue with any. personal preference making you guys dislike them?

Here is the sad part, the economy doesn't matter as much as you think. Those guns would top the list anyway, frankly most folks are cheap. I learned from going to trade shows long ago that people would take a steaming terd and throw it in there goodie bag if it were free.

By the way though I don't like many of the guns on the list, it does not mean they are terds. I was just making a observation over the years.

EDIT:I spot a Taurus and a couple of High-points on the list too,...let the hating begin
Need to break that down a bit more 6 were not hand guns 1 was used so the number would be more like better than 50% of the new hand guns were Ruger. Your always going to have a one or two discount brands on the list.
Of course having been a Ruger fan for years it does not surprise me.
Small sample of my Rugers I do allow the PARA next to them

Price buyers, Because Bud's has good pricing they are going to draw a lot of volume from the budget priced guns. Very simple more people can afford them.
