Good Day at the Farm
My son and I were invited to a friend's farm to shoot today - three men, three middle school aged boys.
Weapons available: .45 Glock, .40 SIG, .357 revolver, 9mm Baretta, M1 Garand, SKS, .22 Savage rifle, 7.62x39 Ruger rifle, 20g shotgun and 2 12g shotguns. We had a blast!
I even got try shooting skeet. More difficult than I realized; I went 1 for 4...
The video below is of the boys blowing my target away with all three shotguns:

Nothing like young boys to compell a fellow to have a great time.

Ummm, okay?
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

I'm guessing you had the same thoughts as me with that one.
Looks like a blast. I need to get some friends together for a day at the farm.

Alright y'all.
I meant when going on a shooting outing.
Where are our minds these days? Vice-Pres. makes an unfortunate remark about college cheerleaders and we're seeing inappropriate behavior everywhere.

We were with you in spirit, Mano. I've had both parents in the hospital for over a month, and it's been tough on all of us. Yesterday, my son convinced me that we were overdue for a "shooting day", so we headed out to the country to do the same.
I shot worse than I have in many years. With handguns, I couldn't group tighter than 6" at 30'. It seemed like there was a flier in every set. Even so, we had a blast and enjoyed some good "healing" time together.
I'll be cleaning guns every night for a week now.
