I second the Bersa UC Pro. I have one in .45 and it is a fine weapon. No failures, and very smooth action.
As far as the Bersa .380, my wife has one, and there's two things I don't like about it. No. 1, its a .380 (I just really like .45s :P) and No. 2, I'm not a fan of the safety on that gun. If it was my carry gun, I'd leave the safety off all the time, because it'd be a pain in the ass to switch off in a moment's notice. It does shoot well, however, and my wife is very accurate with it.
