    THOSE COMMIES!!!!!!!
"[T]he people are not to be disarmed of their weapons.
They are left in full possession of them."

Zacharia Johnson (speech in the Virginia Ratifying Convention,25 June 1778)"The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed." ~Alexander Hamilton

    Truly A Shame.
Our Gov has also done its fair share of serious firearm destruction.

    You know, NO GUNS ALLOWED.

Hey Chris, there was a pile of enfields, did anything look like one of yours?

Truly sad. Just think of all the BG's those guns could help rehabilitate.

Hard to tell Mike - thru the mist of tears!

I still think back to my first M27 going for destruction - that was gut-wrenching.

The pics were not from the US, but we do the same thing on smaller scale.

All guns involved in crimes and almost all guns "turned in" in MA are destroyed by the MA State Police. This is policy (I don't think it's law). So if a stolen gun is used in a crime, the insurance company/lawful owner is screwed even if the gun could have been reunited with the rightful owner.

I have no love for NJ, but I own a former NJ SP H&K P7M8 that was refurbed (and had a seal ground off the slide) by H&K and resold here in MA (and elsewhere) about 6 years ago. They may have new "leadership" in NJ that decided to destroy their guns since that time, so my info is valid only for that time-frame.
