Somebody was telling me last week that the New Jersey State Police had 150 HK P7's that were nib destroyed. Evidently, they were switching to another duty weapon and the commissioner wanted to make sure that they didn't fall into the wrong hands??? If that is true what a freakin' waste.

New Jersey's tax money hard at work! Makes me want to throw up! I'd bet the gun control would have a wet dream over those pics! (If that phrase is inappropriate, then I apologize.)

I feel pretty strongly right now. I don't think I can express my opinion on this without getting banned.

What's the story on this arms dump? Who? What? Why? Where? It is, as you said, heartbreaking.

I read or heard somewhere that confiscated guns that are stolen, or something(??) Cannot be auctioned off. No matter how rare they are, no matter the value, they're melted down. I don't recall what category of confiscation it is, because I know police depts. have auctions, but I heard it somewhere.

How much is just one of those mini guns worth now. And the historic value of some of them. Lawful citizen collectors could be continuing the use of some of those weapons and the others could be in museums. Others (though outdated) could be used to train soldiers on the enemies weapons and train reserves/national guardsmen.

    What a freakin tragedy!

If they showed a field of International Harvester M1 Garands I wouldn't have been able to sleep tonight.
