Finally brought home my new Ruger LC9. I can't wait to have some range time with it. Do any of you recommend any specif type of ammo to feed it.

Finally brought home my new Ruger LC9. I can't wait to have some range time with it. Do any of you recommend any specif type of ammo to feed it.

Can't speak to the LC9 specifically, but I'm an advocate of shooting them right out of the box to see how they perform as shipped (unless manual says otherwise).
I'd just wipe it down, run a patch through the barrel to get any excess oil out and go shoot it. I prefer Federal Champion for range ammo, but Winchester White Box will work also (although in my experience it is dirtier). For defensive ammo, I like the Federal HST, if you can find them.
