    After Laser Engraving a gun do you need to coat the engraving so that it will not rust?

    If it's on a blued, firearm, I'd say normal gun care will do the job.

    You can just brush a very light coat of clear paste wax into it with a soft toothbrush. That should prevent any possible future rusting.

    Clear finger nail polish will do the trick
