Good: Sign at AZ Gun Store
Pinetop, AZ gunstore had a sign that reads: "If you voted for Obama your business is NOT WLCOME at Southwest Shooting Authority. You have proven you are not responsible enough to own a Firearm" Owner says he is not discriminatioing against anyone but it is belief that he should sell to only those people who are responsible.

We are told not to judge Muslims by the actions of a few. I suggest we give millions of responsible gun owners the same courtesy.

I think he may be tip toeing his way to a slippery slope.

Regardless of the obvious political statement, it may work for awhile, while the current nutzo gun/ammo buying craze is happening, but it may not be a good business strategy in the near future.
Cold hard cash from as many sales is what any businessman needs to survive. Annoying potential future customers against your business is not something you should do over politics. Safety concerns and other issues (morality based) might work in this situation, but this could lead to a loss in potential revenue. A very risky thing in today's business environment.
My opinion.

Ridiculous sentiments like that would ensure that I never shop there.
Which part of democracy where sometimes your side wins and sometimes your side loses do people like this not understand?
Love it or leave it mentalities are the antithesis of true representative democracies.

Here is a thought - Biz Owner, "I have the right to refuse service to anyone! Shopper, "You have the right not to shop there!"
Also for those who failed Government 101 - We are a Republic! Not a democracy! Please read the Federalist Papers as well as the Anti-Federalist papers to learn and know the difference.

Completely ridiculous. I'm an atheist but I don't tell Christians to turn around. There's a point where we all have to get along. Aren't those people who voted for Obama still Americans? Isn't it possible than some of them believe in and defend gun rights? There were other issues in the election. Maybe gun rights was lower on their list than some of the others. I know that it is his "right" to refuse service. But it just seems like he's being a part of the problem, not the solution. Wouldn't you *want* Obama supporters patronizing your store since it means they support gun rights?

While very slightly firearms related, this will without a doubt travel in a direction (too late) that is against forum policy regarding politics.
