By his selections I'm guessing he plans to survive in an urban situation. I wouldn't have included a Taurus Judge in any survival arsenal, unless that all I could find. I would be best suited with a long barreled 12ga shotgun, a deer rifle, and a 22 revolver. If I were on foot and could only carry 1 it would be the 12 ga. with slugs, buckshot, and bird shot Id do just fine. DR

for me, .40 glock with 9mm and .357 barrels, ar 15, a .22 upper conversion for the ar (maybe a 9mm carbine too?), and a 12 gauge. three guns, covering 6 calibers. ammo versatility, lightweight.

He was doing fine until he added a Judge to the list... he lost points (and credibility) with me there.

Just give me a good .22 rifle. As far as the Judge, well, about the only thing it does best is it's novelty status.

My Glocks, my Henry Lever Action .22mag, my 30-30, and my 'reworked' 12ga coach gun will all work for me.
It's hard to pick just one or two, but I could survive with my Glock-21 and the Henry...

Looks like 6 DIFFERENT calibers in the pic. I am good with a .22 lever action, fires shorts, longs, and lr's, a 12 gauge, Ak 47, and .357.............come to think of it that's what I have now.

Anyone who advocates the universal survival applications of The Judge is, IMHO, lacking in the most important tool to survive...judgement.

Ruger 10/22. Versatile, light weight, ammo is light weight and small, allowing you to carry massive quantities. Capable of killing just about anything in North America.

Toss in a handgun of favorite caliber. 9mm probably most common and available for resupply. And I am with all of you on the judge showing a lack of judgement. .410 isn't going to be in large supply, and if you are going to carry something that big, you should get more power and capacity out of it.

Taurus and Bushmaster never seemed like something to survive with to me.

If I didn't have a vehicle to carry stuff, I'd be perfectly happy with my AR and my Glock 19.

Over 20 guns in that list. It looks like he just picked a bunch at random and said a few things about them. One of each type of firearm and his reasons for picking it would've been sufficient.
