Have you checked out Southwest Shooter Supply and H&H Gun Range there in OKC?

I frequent H&H constantly, actually bought a .380 from them 4 months ago. Ammo is usually a little high, but as far as gun prices go, it's almost comparable.
Southwest shooter supply, I've never heard of, guaranteed I'm gonna check them out online to see what there about and maybe take a visit.

Get to know a local FFL holder. That way you may get cheaper transfer fees if you choose to buy online.

Disregard on Southwest Shooter Supply. Found a posting saying they closed due to owner becoming ill. Too bad, was a great store and had some really good ammo prices, at least when I lived in OK.

We got a class 3 firearms FFL here in OKC, bought a gun at bud's and shipped it to him. He normally charges 20 bucks, since I'm military he charges 10 bucks. Luckily it was veterans week and he told me not to worry about paying. Boy was I grateful!

This too for me. After purchasing numerous guns from the three LGS I frequent, it's all first name basis and they beat any price they reasonably can. Maybe it's just me or the guns I've been looking into lately, but I haven't been able to find any great deals from online stores. I have seen some pretty sweet deals on the forum here though.

That's a shame, I was at one point getting my ammo at H&H, but I found that walmart prices are way better. No shame in my game.

I buy guns at gun stores and ammo at Walmart. No shame here either.

Edit: Or Bass Pro sometimes, depending on the ammo..
