I wouldn't mind shooting one but I much rather buy a couple more guns than spend the ridiculous asking price for this one.

I couldn't have said it better myself!
Which does not change the fact that the gun will probably be short lived and have very investment/good collector value.

But, don't make the same boo-boo that many make when buying for collector value. Buy extra magazines magazines and spare parts parts.
And possibly a holster holster. That will increase the value and saleability down the road.

Pretty sure utility is not what they really have in mind.

    I WANT ONE!
    Just because I can!

It will sit right next to my S&W 500 and my 454 Casuall Ruger Redhawk that don't have much utility either. Not saying they wouldn't be useful if I lived in or went to Alaska, but no utility for me at the moment.

I have a safe full of high end shotguns that seldom, or more often never, see a hunt. No utility in those either, but I sure do love owning them and shooting them. Many years ago I owned a Model 70 in 458 WM. Never had any plans to go to Africa and it hurt to shoot, but I sure wish I still owned it

It would be a no go with my CCW license. I'd have to put it on my CCCCWW license. And beings that I live in Ca. would mine come with 2, 5 round mags?

True true duk. I believe it would fall under the Too Scary to Carry section.
