One of my favorite books. Loved the Studs Terkel like oral history format Brooke's used. Perfect way to capture the "survival stories" in the aftermath of the zombie apocalypse. And of course I am a big zombie genre nut so that helped too!

Thanks for the recommendations, just ordered WWZ and ZSG from amazon. Sounds like good, fun reading.
Really don't like "Sons of Guns" because of the made up drama crap, but... Last season they did a competition about building the ultimate zombie gun. The owner built a AR style drum fed .223. The customer decided on a large capacity 10/22. The customer was the author of WWZ and ZSG, Max Brooks. Not to be a spoiler, the 10/22 won out. Brooks is the son of Mel Brooks, remember Blazing Saddles with Gene Wilder?
It was a fun read but don't think I'd say it was an all time favorite.
Good book - liked it.
I've said it before, I DON"T like fast Zombies!!!
I loved both the ZSG and WWZ. If you like WWZ I recommend getting the book on tape, it’s abridged but very well read. The production is set up with different voice actors so it is more like you are listening to recordings of the actual interviews.
WWZ was a great read. Really had me wanting another 200 pages.
