    In NC the Kalifornia of the south any pistol sale, private or LGS has to have a permit exchange by law.
    Some people will start trouble and then try to make it look like its your fault....

    I bought a revolver yesterday without a background check. I got it from my LGS.

    But, I let them see my SCCWP, so they knew there was nothing they could check on my background that hadn't been done before.
