I was thinking the same thing... Paraphrasing Costa's "NFL players need to learn to make the correct decisions, if an NFL player is impaired, they can make the right decision and pick up the phone and call for a ride" Yet... "The gun caused the player to act like he did, surely if he didn't have a gun he would have been an upstanding human being".
I just don't get it...

I believe Costas is short lived for his present job. I did e-mail several of the companies that advertise on the show to express my displeasure on the idiots statement. Have not received one reply.

Here is something Bob Costas should have been mandated to do before he made his statement... Maybe its something all anti-gun folks should also do.........

He should have called for "reasonable" car controls. If all cars were limited to 60 MPH, this would not have happened. After all, nobody really needs a Mercedes, it is part of our "car culture". Even worse, 40% of all car purchases are done without background checks!
