You just can't beat a Colt.
Have Fun and Shoot Straight !!
I think Glock has the most fans. I don't own a Glock.
The majority of my Semi-autos are Sig Sauers and the majority of my Revolvers are S&W.
Of all the handguns I've fired, my favorite is the Walther PPQ 9mm. The PPQ is seriously on my wish list for Christmas, and Santa has been duly advised. I fired a rented PPQ yesterday and all my groups were one ragged hole about 1.5 inches across at 10, 20, and 30 foot distances. I can't say the same for the other 4 guns I fired at the same distances.
Glock has the biggest fan base, but then they get the most press. Every shooting is done with a Glock, whether it was what was actually used or not.

Seems you left one the number 1 seller Ruger . That Kind of sways the poll a bit.
I voted Glock; to hear some Glock cultists talk no other handgun in the world deserves to exist. For myself I prefer 1911s but cannot pass up a nice S&W or Colt revolver.
When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

I'd guess if you made $200,000 a day off your pistols, that would be a huge fanboy base.

In CA alone Ruger out sells Glock 28% to 9% that shoot s the fan base thing all to heck Sales= fans not net hype.
I've never met a Ruger fan boy, most Ruger owners tend to recognize why thier guns (at least semi-autos) cost less and are sold to more budget buyers.
You also have to factor in the Ruger has a more diverse line than Glock. If you were to compare Semi~Auto pistol sales to semi-auto pistol sales we'd probably see a different trend.

The 1911 should be a choice, you think Glock guys are die hard! If you tell the 1911 crowd that it may not be the best carry gun they want to tie you down and stone you to death.
Hi JD. Nice to meet you, I'm definitely a Ruger fanboy.
I've owned Glocks, Springfield, Smiths, Taurus, and Browning (all if which I still own, except the Glock) and have to say my Ruger takes the cake for me.
I just couldn't shoot that Glock worth a dime. Guess there was nothing wrong with the gun, just wasn't comfortable in my hands.
Now my SR9, I shoot great. Have had zero issues. And fund it to be made just as well as the Glocks I've had a chance to handle.
