Cheaper to build a BCG or just buy one?

    Saw this one on Brownells

is Les Baer good quality? is that price decent? am I better off buying separate parts and building it myself?

Some people like the plated ones for easy cleaning/oiling. I didn't get that kind. My last one was $124.95 from atomictactical.com but out of stock
Bolt Carrier Groups . My prior one was from Palmetto State Armory for $129.95

Les Baer is fine quality stuff. Yes, IMHO, you'll get more quality for less money buying a Bolt Carrier Group than building your own. There's not that much labor involved (staking?) so it's all parts. You can't touch the manufacturer's bulk-volume discount price on parts anyway. Buy a good plated one & be done.
There are only TWO kinds of people in this world; those who describe the world as filled with two kinds of people...and those who don't.
