The current administration has caused a stir in the air. ARs, ammo and AR parts are in high demand right now because there's concern about legislation that could be imposed that will cause these items to either go away or have great restrictions placed on them. Palmetto State kits are always in high demand because they are good guns for great prices. With the state of affairs, they're even in more demand.

When will things get back to normal? Who knows. Crazed gunners in shopping malls aren't helping matters.

You might have better luck buying the lower build kit, and upper reciver/BCG seperately.

Sometimes I wonder if the problem is not more manufacturer created / related than potential legislation. Right now the current administration has far greater issues to deal with than firearms. Certainly economic issues at this point in time.

You can still buy what your looking for . just may not get it same day. Supplies will catch up and the tighten up again. December sales may drop below November sales but production may lag with Holiday. prices will creep up a bit I am betting.

The local gun store/ shooting range in my area has about 50 AR rifles ranging from Bushmaster - Colt. Saw a bunch of DPMS and Windhams too.
Of coarse they are about $200 higher than everyone else too.

If you can get some extra cash look into Bravo Company. They have some excellent uppers for a reasonable price. I see everything going up and in demand in the coming weeks. It's just ridiculous how much a tragedy can affect our hobby and passions. But we're crazy gun-nuts remember! ;)
