    Wonder if the news reporter mistook a cable on the truck for a chain.I have a hard time believing a pistol is going to be able to shoot through a thick chain like that.
    OTOH, a cable, yeah.

    It looks like he shot through the metal cable clamp,he used his brains and shot where it was rigidly attached to the post,I probably would have grabbed my tow strap had them hook to the rear of the vehicle and I would have pulled the vehicle back

    I give that guy credit for quick thinking. If the driver had been unconscious for 5 minutes he didn't have much time left.
    It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
