When people feel powerless to stop things like this murderous rampage, they will resort to anything, including threats of death to who they believe are complicit in the murders.
By attacking the NRA via phone, social media etc. they are acting out their frustration by not being able to stop things like this from happening.

It would be like two or three instances of people driving a car from brand XYZ during crimes, then promoting murdering the staff at company XYZ merely for having made the car, or for the dealerships promoting the utility of them.
About the only folks I'd prefer to not coexist with would be the murderers in the crowd, but they're devilishly hard to find. It's rare when they light their hair on fire to be identified as such, though that's essentially what these COEXIST nuts are doing.
