About LinkBacksI did "panic" buy a Ruger LCR yesterday, only because I've always wanted one and the LGS was giving a deal I couldn't give up. I have been buying rounds here and there to stock up, seeing as though the "end of the world" is on Friday.

Nope. I'm typically not the person to "panic buy", but I do have a bad feeling about what's coming next for gun owners and enthusiasts. I'm debating whether or not to pick up several AK-74 magazines from Brownells, even though I don't have a 74 (yet). I also just bought a PPS so I don't have a lot of spare money.

I have been wanting an AR for a while now, and I think all the ban talk finaly convinced my wife I need to get one now. Don't have it in the budget for a complete one, but hopefully I can a lower somewhere to get my foot in the door.

You'll have a hard time finding any mags soon much less an ak at a reasonable price.
I would not call it exactly panic buying, more like preparing. I have bought a couple more mags for my Uzi, AK and Colt AR. This weekend there is a gun show in Kansas City. I bet that place will be a zoo and have record sales.

I ordered three more magazines for my M&P9c on Friday. The 12-round versions. You know, the deadlier-than-10-round versions.

Kicking around buying the bigger magazine (I think standard on Glock 21) and spacer for Glock 30.

Went today to stock-up on powder and primers. Planning on making a handgun purchase after the new year.

I don't have a need to panic buy since I keep everything well stocked on a regular basis. I do need some 1911 mags since I just got one and only have two, but it doesn't seem like people are rushing for those since my home LGS had a rack full of CMC mags. This all also makes building up a stock of .45 difficult....I might just have to take the re out of reload.

No, but I did ask my wife for 2 boxes of 30/30 ammo for Christmas.
No trees were harmed in the construction of this post. However a large number of electrons were indiscriminately aroused.
