Its difficult to land a job today. Don't jump ship until you have your feet firmly planted on the deck of another. For now you can stick it to them buy taking the money they pay you and use it to buy ammo and mags. ;-)

Your employer is taking steps that are (as you see it) unjustifiable, not laudable, and which harm your income and ability to feed your family.

The only real question is, what do you think you should do?
Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it.
    Thoughts: Justifiable self defense (A.O.J.).
Explain: How does disarming victims reduce the number of victims?
Reason over Force: The Gun is Civilization (Marko Kloos).

Like I have told my wife in the past, "You are swinging from limb to limb, make sure you have a limb in one hand before you let go with the other. You don't want to be between limbs with only one direction to go".

I'd be looking for another job, but I wouldn't quit the one I have until I had a new one.

First, if your not in mgmt, you shouldn't have much trouble finding another retail job. I work part time in retail and
from what I've seen most companies are dying for someone who shows up when scheduled and does a moderate
amount of work when on the clock. And once you get a new job, I would leave with a two week notice, and a
resignation telling them you can't support a company whose reaction to crisis is to deny Constitutional rights.

I wouldn't think it would be illegal to sell a firearm through an online intermediate like Guns America would it? The firearm would have to ship to an FFL for the buyer to pick up right? I might be wrong and please correct me if I am. I'm never shopping with Dicks, Walmart or Cheaper than Dirt ever again. I can't stand behind companies who are spineless. Just like banking. I refuse to deal with anti-gun banks like Bank of America etc etc. Dude I'd find another job before you leave tho. You're stupid if you quit before finding something else.

Curious, wonder where all the guns pulled from shelves at the retailers that did so went? Are they in the back in the store, shipped back to corporate, or sold to another seller? Hadn't given that much thought.

i've been in several LGS's in the past week- all the blackguns, pieces and parts, mags and ammo...all gone...even most AK and related stuff. Just one report from the field.

I agree with your reasoning for wanting to quit but personally I need a job for income more so than I need to quit a company that has different views than I do. Good luck on your decision.

The only other advice I feel hasn't been mentioned here to make sure you don't burn any bridges.

It may feel good to speak your mind, and standing up for something you believe is not something to be ashamed of, but in the long run if it makes no difference it's not worth it.

Speaking from personal experience, you may be in a position someday where you need a job and a previously held one is open.
