AR15 mags - How many do you need?

Given that the ban on 30 rounders is coming, how many of these do you think you "need" to own for your personal (i.e., not resale) purposes?

    About 300 seems right.

Yeah, anywhere in the 200-500 range seems reasonable. Hard to know exactly how many....

10/per, but high-cap bans are the least of our worries.

I don't know how many you need, but I have fourteen of the 30 round mags.

I have nine 30 round and one 20 round PMAGs. I think I'll go see if I can find a 33 rounder for my G19 today, but that is unrelated to this.

You don't need ANY! At least until after I get mine.

    I am looking to get 10 - 15.

I'm not real crazy about how the question is phrased; "Need" is the qualifier that progressives use to strip rights, finances and property away.

It's not anybody else's business to determine if I "need" what I own.

I HAD 30, until that horrible boating accident of 2012, now I have zero....I had 10 loaded with standard .223/556. 10 loaded with green tip, and 10 loaded with varmint rounds.... But, I'm lazy and hate loading those things.
I had 2 rifles, a standard Sig M400 with the carry handle and iron sights, and an enhanced M400 with 3X holographic scope....

I really do need to stop taking my guns fishing with me.

I absolutely agree that no one - particularly the government - is/should be in a position to tell individuals what they need. My query was solely meant to solicit perceptions of how many is enough for you.

I only have a couple 30 rounders, but quite a few 20 rounders. Not too concerned about the whole thing, and I refuse to buy magazines that have been jacked up in price.
