I stopped at one of our largest local gun stores today...
When I stopped there last week, there were lots of "assault rifles" (AR/AK/etc.) on the walls. Today, there were less than a dozen left to sell when I arrived and I saw several people walk out with new rifles in boxes. Only the very high end rifles were left and those were selling quickly. When I left, there were only 3 left on the wall and those were Knight Armament rifles with extremely high price tags.
I did note prices of handguns and "non-assault-type rifles" and they had not gone up in price since I noted them earlier this month. This is an honest group of people...no price gouging. Ammo prices were very reasonable in case lots. (Yeah, I bought a case of 9mm...I just couldn't help myself.)
