I guess yeah - best you can do is exactly that - stayed armed and vigilant. Sad reflection on today's society huh :frown:
My area is by comparison pretty good but - even so - every few days something goes down which makes for an easy wake-up call, if anyone is lulled into a false sense of security.
ALL year long is a good time to be on your guard, but the Holiday season has people out with their money, looking to spend it, and therefore the thugs are out in force, looking to STEAL it...
Stay alert. Use your head. Don't expose yourself to becoming a victim. Shop safely.
I did all my shopping online. I hate crowded sheep pens, I mean, stores. Everything was mailed to moms where the presents will be divied out anyway...
I don't really care for the holidays as they are now today. They have lost the meaning they originally had. Too comercialized.
