Nice. I was surprised they didn't use any of the steel cased Hornady ammo. Amazing how fast a barrel wears out - I guess they weren't chrome lined. Makes me glad for longer gas systems too! Thanks for sharing,

I thought it said somewhere they were chrome lined but maybe I'm mistaken.I believe they said the big reason they wore out so fast was because they didn't let the barrels cool down and kept firing them more than most people would which increased the speed of wear....
I just looked them up on Bushmaster's website - chrome lined! Wow. 6,000 rounds? That's crazy. I guess I'll add this to the list of reasons to be glad I didn't stock up on Russian 5.56
