The Dirty Trick Thread
When it comes to the world of violence I have always loved dirty tricks. It was who I was as a boy, it was who I was as a young man, and it is all about what I teach today......especially in my Point Shooting Progressions family of courses.
Fighting fair is for idiots......fighting dirty is all about taking whatever advantage is given to you.
My favorite dirty trick is the element of surprise. For those that know me, you know that I am not a big man. There is nothing better than being under estimated. The size of a man should never be confused with the amount of fight in his heart, the level of violence he is willing to bring to bear, and how quickly he is willing to go there.
"Get there with the firstest and the mostest!"
Let's list the very best of the dirty tricks.

My favorite dirty trick is avoiding situations and places that would require me to use a dirty trick.
Also, carrying a gun for those times (anytime) someone would put me in a deadly situation without my consent.
Been calling it like I see it since 1988 and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

My favorite (from Hollywood, before they became Hollyweird):
Butch Cassidy: No, no, not yet. Not until me and Harvey get the rules straightened out.
Harvey Logan: Rules? In a knife fight? No rules!
[
Butch immediately kicks Harvey in the groin]
Butch Cassidy: Well, if there aint' going to be any rules, let's get the fight started. Someone count. 1,2,3 go.
Sundance Kid: [quickly] 1,2,3, go!
[
Butch knocks Harvey out]
Just throwing out some levity.
Surprise suits me too, as a small older man. Get explosively violent instantly.

"But if they don't exist, how can a man see them?"
"You may think I'm pompous, but actually I'm pedantic... let me explain the difference."
"Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything."

Survivors are the only winners in a fight and they will use anything or method to survive, myself I will avoid situations necessitating using survival skills but will use anything necessary to survive..
When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

Re: The Dirty Trick Thread
There are no dirty tricks in my repertoire, only wise methods.
Well, OK, there might be some deception in there. ;)

Identify early ones enemies and be cordial, feed misinformation. Use their words to gauge enemy intent. When "they "come for their booty, theres either none to be found or they find themselves facing something previously unknown giving advantage to the defender...

My CCW is an awesome dirty trick.
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME.

Fein compliance and falsely project fear while waiting for an opening to overwhelm your adversary.

Situational awareness, avoiding and evading confrontation are just as if not more important than being good in a fight. The best way to win a gunfight is to avoid it. A gun is a tool of LAST RESORT.

In a fight for your life, there are no "dirty" tricks. Only unusual tactics to give you an advantage.

My dirtiest tricks are being the nicest, thickest-skinned, most patient guy in the room, along with SA and demonstrating an air of confidence. I try to look like a hardened target.

Cup your hands and slap your cupped palms on the ears hard. It is extremely difficult for a bad guy to continue to be a threat with two instantly ruptured ear drums.
It will debilitate the largest foe.

Sounds good. How do I practice that?
