Well, I will reserve opinion on the worthiness of this pistol until I see it released. Since this is not in production yet, any internet rumors and pictures of prototypes tell me nothing about what the final product will be, or where it will be produced. I'm thinking Walther would certainly bring this to SHOT Show. I'm sure we'll know more then.

This .22 looks like fun. I know umarex makes die cast .22 1911s for some of the big names. Wonder how well they're holding up.

I don't see it as either. Are you a moderator or just a jerk?

Well, considering your first post consisted of 3 words bashing a pistol that doesn't even exist yet, contains an abbreviated profanity (we suggest everyone review the forum rules before joining), comes off as condescending toward me (I may be a girl, but my emotions are not fragile, nor am I ignorant of the world of .22LR Umarex/Walther pistols). And you called a Senior Member a jerk? All in less than 4 posts? Welcome, indeed!

Nice. I have a 1968 380 ppks and love the feel of the gun. You need it.

It has similar specs to the P22.
Glock 23 - CZ 452 ZKM Special
Walther P22 - LMT STD 16
Mossberg 500 - Kahr P380
Henry H001Y - Winchester 12
Smith & Wesson M&P Shield

That's fully what I expect it be. The looks of a PPK/S; the quality of a P22. My husband has a P22, and it's nice enough for what it is and what he paid.

My husband loves his. It needs new magazines, though. The springs are pretty tired out after 7 years.

joere --- I'm not a moderator -- as you would see if you looked to the left. Am I a jerk? -- I'm sure there are those that think so.

I just sold a S&W made PPK/s that I had a for a few years.
They are great pistols.
I should have kept it.
Was dead accurate and never had one ftf.

I have a .380 PPK/s made by S&W. I have still not fired it!!!! Ammo came in a week or so ago and I have to drag myself to the range. I love the feel of this gun, it balances like a dream in my hand. Besides when I pick it up I feel like Bond, James Bond.

It exists. I shot it on Monday. Nice gun. Didn't blow my skirt up, though. I'd probably as soon get the Bersa, unless you just have a hankering for the Walther.
