Won't watch, but his rhetoric is the driving force, not greed. Gun makers are only trying to meet market demands.

You cannot believe what this guy is saying. He has lied to us for four years now.
I knew from the Get Go that he can't be trusted, his entire Presidency is shrouded in secrecy and sealed records,he seems to forget that a lot of AR15 owners are current and former military that took an oath to uphold the constitution and protect the USA from all enemies foreign and domestic

A gun shop just a few miles north of me has Obama's picture mounted on a beautiful plaque with a shiny brass plate that reads "Salesman of the Year 2008-2012". The current POTUS has done more to increase gun sales in this country than anything or anyone, yet he clearly places the blame elsewhere.... how presidential of him.

He basically said retailers and manufacturers are making people scared and using fear to drive up sales. That's utterly ridiculous.

Laws are restrictive but sometimes necessary to maintain a civil society. Rights are nonrestrictive but are always necessary to maintain a free society.
Demand by customers surges because of supplier greed? Economics 101, bub: markets don't work that way. If anything, the increased pricing and decreased availability of most things should dissuade folks. And yet, demand is skyrocketing. Gee, could it possibly be because the elected hirelings are daring to unconstitutionally infringe upon the right of people to keep and bear arms? Duh.
IMO, it's a hypocritical spinning snow job, nothing more. He wants to exert the power over upstanding citizens, despite the claimed measures having little to no likelihood of curbing criminal activity. Constitution and his blood oath to protect and defend it be damned.

Yup.
IMO, it's our elected hirelings' direct threats to subvert the Constitution that are providing powerful motivation to folks, not fooling anyone who's paying attention. It's that tom-foolery that's driving up demand, the expectation of crimes against the Constitution.
Suppliers are simply striving to meet demand for their perfectly lawful products. As well they should.

He knows perfectly well that his rhetoric is the one and only reason gun and ammo sales have gone through the roof. Now he is looking for a scapegoat to blame so that he can deflect attention away from his role as the century's #1 gun salesman. I wonder if anyone - even the gun control advocates - are buying this line of bull.
I hate how he uses the "hunting/shooting" definition of 2nd amendment. I'd flip backwards if he said it was for protection from tyranny. His argument just breaks down then. Ignorant, or just avoiding that interpretation?
