Seems to me that LTD is just one of several businesses that will likely hit the skids as a result of thier own actions in response to the current political circus... They can rot for all I care.

Give them until the end of the week to do right by you and if they fail, contest the CC charges.

It's not really CTD's problem at this point - it's UPS' problem. That said, if UPS doesn't reimburse you for the cost of the product, I'd charge it back on the credit card and let CTD go after UPS - all part of doing business.

They are a sponsor here, so maybe you might want to mention a 'viewing audience' or over 66K when you send your next/last email?
This is why I use the american express for online orders. They will refuse payment on my request, no questions asked.

    FWIW, I feel compelled to stand up for CTD here based on two recent personal experiences;

    * First was a few months ago, I stupidly ordered the wrong barrel for my son's Rossi. CTD had already included a pre-paid return shipping label with it, and allowed me to return it for a full refund.

    * Second was a few weeks ago, my son noticed that they had probably made a mistake, but had .270 available for $8 per box of 20. He pounced on it and had me order 10 boxes for him. They not only honored their price, but had it on our doorstep in a about 10 days.

I give credit where it is due.

I wish my experience was half as good as yours was WHEC724 ....... they turned off the phones to incoming calls and you can see the useless reply to my emails. Im done with them, I did a charge back on my C/C today.
I think they are forgetting that without us (the customer) they will fail

Unless someone in the UPS system stole your item (and that is surprisingly rare) it is likely that the package will eventually be found. If it shows up at your door I'm sure CTD will be aggressive in coming after you. Make sure you either have the gun back to them very quickly or get payment in route fast.

I would be happy to see it show up, and payment will be prompt. I want the goods for sure!

I just got an email Paula at CTD issuing me a refund, so all in all it turned out fine. I still feel they have room for improvement in there communication skills. At any rate THANK YOU Paula!!

    Gary,

I will refund you for the order and file a claim with UPS for the lost package.

    Sincerely,

    Paula Hansberry

Your experiences with Not-Cheaper Than Dirt just reinforces my previous decision NOT to do business with them! I have looked at their ads on several occasions, and in nearly all instances, I have found the same item cheaper at other sources or even locally!!!! Their "cheaper" ad is just plain bovine scatology!

It is too bad they didn't reship the items you ordered. That is what they should have done. At least you got your money back.

Sorry to hear this HardBall. I've had several transactions with CTD over the years with zero hiccups or problems at all. I don't have any advice other that to keep a written record of every person you have communicated with; by name, date, and time. Your experience makes me pause ... I WAS thinking about placing another order next month. Humm ... maybe I'll hold off for now. Good luck. Let us know how your situation works out.

Sounds like someone who works for ups is a gun nut too and seen the package and "lost" it for himself! I will never ship ups if i have the option! They treat packages horrible!

I have never ordered from CTD and unless they get their act together (including not caving to anti-gun pressure) I never will.

If gun related items, it is quite possible they do not have the items in stock now, with no realistic stock replenishment in sight.
