    Commander size 1911? I'm in.

Alot of touchie feelie today! The Ruger Reps all stated the new LCR 22mag has been tested and the 22mag round will expand out of the LCR. One of the issues with the short barrel and 22mag was the lack of expansion. I don't know if all the ammo guys addressed this issue. The only one I know of is Speer Gold Dot short barrel 22 mag.

One other note is the LCR 22mag is a 6 gun and not the 8 rounds as the LCR 22LR.

Toooo many toys and so little time! Now if I could get She who must be obeyed to pony up for somemore toys! What a Hawaii trip or two if we get new pistols!

I'd be more impressed if Ruger came out with a LCR in 9mm, that did not need moon clips. 9mm is cheaper than .38, and the cylinder could be shorter, reducing the overall length of the revolver. THAT would sell like hotcakes.
The number of people killed because they didn't have "enough gun" is dwarfed by those who had none at all. Get a gun you will always carry, and add more capability as you grow.

Honestly... nothing that really blows my skirt up. That commander 1911 weighs a ton and I'm not sure of the practical application of the a LCR in 22 mag.

This forum is in dire need of a semi seductive winkey eye brow raise emote... just doesn't convey the proper level of creepiness
