    Dear Troy,

To show you that we're really not that bad, we decided to leave you this cool wooden horse we made. Gratis. We're going back home. Enjoy!

Doesn't mean you have to answer. Of course it will probably end up being construed the same as if you refuse to answer per the 5th Amendment so they would then assume the answer was yes.

How would that equate to a registration?
Because in the process of checking the background, the ATF will require the serial number of the firearm that is changing hands. Do you think they would really allow me to check the background of a person and sell them 30 guns on the spot? No. It is not going to work that way.

Not sure most liberals are going to like the results of the CDC study, though. Young poor black men shooting other young poor black men with pistols isn't as exciting as madmen with evil black rifles.

Good link but it doesn't break down his EOs. It breaks down his ideas for controlling gun violence. The article is addressing his broad ideas, not the individual EOs.

Yeah, I realized that after reading into it more. Plus it was incomplete. I since deleted my post.

I see a lot of spending for unionized government workers.
I'd rather be lucky than good any day

There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.

Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.

The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), does as the title states, does not document weapons in anyway. The ATF Form 4473 is presently the only means to trace ownership and is maintained at the origin of sale for a period of twenty years or until the FFL is surrendered to the BATFE, the records are then surrendered to and filed by the BATFE.

    1) This will equate to a national registration of firearms.
    2) What happens if someone has possession of a gun that is not in the national database? Will this be a crime? What if a family member borrows a firearm, or has one in their car, etc. Would they then be committing a crime?
    3) Can firearms that are "banned" be passed down to another family member? (Assuming a ban passes - I doubt and hope it would).

...still thinking about other issues, but you get my point.
So...if my dad wanted to give me one of his firearms we would have to find an FFL to do it?
Also, when he dies(not soon I hope) and my brother and I are settling his estate, what do we do then?

    18. "Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers."

Appears to be putting a good guy with a gun in the school.

The comments on this forum? How so? Everyone has an opinion on any given subject and in their opinion what action to take and everyone has a right to state an opinion just as you have the right to question their opinion.
