You folks up north need to do some serious drug testing on your elected officials. Prepare for special elections to follow.

What is incredible, is that for them to get to that point to write that, they actually had to have discussions, and meetings. So they used Taxpayer time and money, to come up with a proposal that will never pass.

What is next? An attempt to reduce Vehicle Homicides?

Somebody needs to introduce a bill that makes anybody running for public office take a stupidity test if they pass the test then it will prove they are too stupid to run for public office and need to be placed in 24 hour care so they won't do anything stupid that could injure/kill themselves or others

    I agree it won't pass.

Probably. Being there won't be any political consequences if it doesn't pass, they'll probably engineer the vote so that reps from really dumb districts can vote 'Aye' to please their people while nothing else will come of it. The 12th district has a lot of idle rich in it who will probably fawn and gush when they hear this, lots of thin, short-haired older women with designer cats and tea gardens, so it's unlikely to come back and haunt Meyer.

Wow. To reduce criminal use of guns? That seems like a good reason...

Obviously this won't pass. However be wary of the ensuing floor debates that will lead to some sort of "7 bullet maximum " compromise. They cry for the most extreme measures and compromise down to a more realistic approach, which is what they really wanted all along.

    Just kidding of course.

What's most upsetting is that I have a dreadful feeling that somehow, someway, this will end up passing. It's so ridiculous that it's possible. This IS Connecticut...

    Its not a northern thing.

Maybe next they will limit ammo sales to 7 rounds at a time in NY, and 1 round at a time in CT. Taxes are per box folks - not per round or a percentage of the purchase price.

This is insanity - the people who elected these folks....
