Not in so many words, he is coaching the gun grabbers to "know your enemy."
If they need to destroy the ability of owership in a group of dedicated firearm and 2A supporters, they need to know what to do and how to go about doing it.
It will not be public, it will be subtle. It will be disguised as them wanting to assure "safety" and "protection" when the real agenda is to disarm the population.

I spent a night in Hope, Arkansas years ago....home of Mr. Clinton. The people in that town hate his guts with all the energy they can muster.
Pretty much sums it up when your home town turns on you.

I believe Slick Willie is simply savvy enough to warn his fellow Democrats that, while some things can be slid past the American public under the cover of our own short-sighted, apathetic darkness, Second Amendment issues CAN NOT! It risks becoming the Obama administration's Rubicon. Clinton is warning his power-base...not to cross it.

I don't respect the man, but I can't deny he is sharp. Some issues in America you just don't mess with. Obama is about to learn that the hard way. Lets all just hope a union is left by the time he is done wielding the wrecking ball.

In short Slick Willie said "Don't take it all on at once, chip away, slowly and carefully, pick the battles you can win, and wwhen you win those, pick a newer one until you have beaten your political opponents." Don't sell him short, and don't think he is asking the Dems to back down, he is just advising them to analyze tactics in order to win.
