I am pondering a polymer pistol in 45 ACP in the future. The three I am considering is the Glock 21 SF, M&P 45, and The FN FNP 45. I would appreciate input from people on this forum in regards to my choices.

all three are great weapons, can't go wrong with either. the fn is pretty pricey but if money is no object. n

I carry an M&P45c most of the time and it's fantastic. Accurate, reliable and comfortable.
I have some G21SFs - I like them. Never shot a M&P but they appear to be quality guns - I would own one if I wasn't in a relationship with Glock already.
The FN looks really nice - especially the "tactical" one with the mount on the slide for a MRDS and the threaded barrel....but that is more like dream gun territory for me. Plus I'm not a DA/SA fan. I believe the gun can be carried cocked and locked but I'm not sure.

I was just reading an article on the new Glock 30s. It has the short frame, 10 round double stack magazine and the slide off the Glock 36. I think if I purchase a 45 for carry that will be my ticket.

I just thought of something that might rule out the FN. I remember that the Glock and M&P can share magazines with smaller siblings.

Carrying a Glock 21 gen4 every day at work. Accurate and reliable.
Everything I need.
The one downside to the G21 is that it is harder to find holsters compared to a G17 or other similar framed glocks.

FN mags were insanely expensive before the circus came to town. I can only imagine what they are selling for now. I'd stick with the Glock or M&P, though the XD has merit too!

I know it's a tad on the expensive side and hard to find but consider the HK45c. It has to be one of the best shooting 45's I've ever shot. It's also very concealable, being very close to the size of a G19. Took months to finally find one. Absolutely no regrets. Happy hunting.

Can't go wrong with Glock, XD, M&P, FN, or HK.
