    While in Germany on my initial tour, Ruger Security Six .357 (6 in bbl) and Ruger Mark I .22 target model. A buddy had waited too long to get them registered for import back to the US (which is how HE got them!), so he sold both of them to me for $100.

    Remington 870 Wingmaster. Now it sports a 18.5" barrel and hangs on the side of my bed whenever I am home.

    Revolver- Dan Wesson 15/2 -6" [ like 2 weeks after the Ruger ] 1976
    Still have them both. Both are semi safe queens, still shoot them though.

    First rifle: Ruger 10/22 (late 70's-still have)
    First shotgun: Mossberg 500 12 gauge (early 80's-still have)
    First handgun: Ruger SP101 357 magnum (recently - still have)

    I did a lot of research and shot a lot of rentals at the range. Finally realized that I like hammer-fired all-metal pistols. It was a close call between the CZ75B and SIG P229. Ended up with the CZ, which I still own.

    Daisy BB Gun. I was 9.....cost me $12.97 plus another buck for 1000 rounds of ammo.

    I think the first gun I pruchased was a Browning 9mm, great gun and I wished I still had it...It was a long time ago though...

    Sig P228 purchased around 2001. I just shot it yesterday. Still runs great!

    My first gun purchase was the Troy Industry Carbine. However, I have yet to get it in my hands as I am having to go through a lawyer to obtain it.

    Other than that, a Taurus PT92 I got on Black Friday was the first gun I actually owned and had in my hands. Good gun to shoot :) Got about 200 rounds through it so far.

    The first long gun I purchased for myself as an adult was a Winchester 94; the first pistol was a Ruger P 85.
