While in Germany on my initial tour, Ruger Security Six .357 (6 in bbl) and Ruger Mark I .22 target model. A buddy had waited too long to get them registered for import back to the US (which is how HE got them!), so he sold both of them to me for $100.

My first gun was a Glock 19 that I bought last year. I am new to shooting. I also purchased a Ruger SR9C.

Remington 870 Wingmaster. Now it sports a 18.5" barrel and hangs on the side of my bed whenever I am home.

I did a lot of research and shot a lot of rentals at the range. Finally realized that I like hammer-fired all-metal pistols. It was a close call between the CZ75B and SIG P229. Ended up with the CZ, which I still own.

My first gun purchase was the Troy Industry Carbine. However, I have yet to get it in my hands as I am having to go through a lawyer to obtain it.

Other than that, a Taurus PT92 I got on Black Friday was the first gun I actually owned and had in my hands. Good gun to shoot :) Got about 200 rounds through it so far.

The first long gun I purchased for myself as an adult was a Winchester 94; the first pistol was a Ruger P 85.
