All O is admitting is that an assault weapon ban won't make it through Congress. He's good at finding ways to around them, constitutional or not. Don't let your guard down.

For a while some people will spend money like crazy and pay crazy prices. But after while prices will go down and settle back into normal.

"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

Normal isn't possible until the debt problem is fixed. We are in for tough times in America and possibly a civil war. There will be a new "normal" in 5 to ten years but I'm not sure what it will look like.
"To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic." Ted Nugent
Let's see, no magazines available, Glocks on 10 month backorder, Gun Shop cases empty, primers at $99/1000, .22lr at $89/500, and oh, yeah, $700 ARs going for $1700 to $2500.
No, I'd have to say things are not getting back to normal, yet.

You cannot ever trust a Marxist, his record is clear that he is anti gun and in a big way. Congress is highly unlikely to pass any "AWB" they remember the last time they did so and lost 20 seats . As a group all of us (including the NRA) need to put a stop to the whole "assault weapon" B.S. a hammer , and many dozens of things "can" be used that way, that in no way means that is what they should be called. The politicians and media seeking to steal our Rights are using this to push their agenda. IMO we all should go on the offensive and make that impossible for them now and in the future.
IF we could put a stop to the major media outlets making these nutjobs "famous" to up their ratings and push their agenda we'd make huge strides IMO. They want to attack the 2nd thus the 1st is also on the table in my view.
Some folks just don't get it. I don't see prices ever being as low as they were pre-Sandy Hook. The market will adjust to what folks are willing to pay.
Remembering what happened last time, every chance I got, I bought an extra Glock 9mm mag. I have a substantial amount now.
I'm one of 'those' who has listed 8 of them in a local buy/sell magazine for $100 each. That will be a bargain if the ban passes. Like I told one guy, "I have Glock magazines - you don't."
It they sell, cool. If not, I still have lot's of magazines.
Look how well the black market thrives in communist/socialist countries.
Speaking of Time magazine, after reading the last 2 issues I don't think I'll be buying it anymore. Obviously very Pro Gun Control.
