I can't tell you exactly, but I can come very close. Either here:
TIME Magazine Cover: Columbine Tapes - Dec. 20, 1999 - Columbine - School Violence - Guns - Violence - Students - Crime
or here:
TIME Magazine Cover: The Atlanta Massacre - Aug. 9, 1999 - Violence

I've never read it much before. Picked up the issue on gun control because of the cover then this weeks as a follow up. After reading it yesterday I decided I'm not giving them anymore money. Any suggestions on an equivalent magazine that more represents our views?

Some are taking advantage and some are just trying to survive as their sales volume falls off the cliff. As an outsider, it's hard to know which one is which, sometimes.

You will probably never buy anything gun-related in again, if that's the case.Originally Posted by KBSR
Couple the end-of-year Christmas sales, the run on items caused by pending legislation, the gun/ammo makers yearly price increase, the cost increase on raw materials for producing guns/ammo, and you have the 'perfect storm' of disruption in the supply/demand chain.
Those that haven't increased their prices most likely won't survive to sell you anything else.

What bothers me more than trying to ban aws,is the UBC
Seems opportunistic dealers who arbitrarily raise prices at the hint of legislation are cutting themselves off at their knees, and through this myopic profiteering are hurting the very consumers who support their industry and the right to even operate.
Seems.to me they would be trying to sell them all, accessories and everything, flood the place, make everyone a stakeholder. Hopefully the profits they more or less extorted through fear and tragedy will go to fighting for the rights that allow them to do business, and their customers to patronize them.
Sadly I think these jackwagons would no sooner do that than switch to providing ATF with whatever they needed to begin confiscation operations if the contract was lucrative enough.

I think you can tell, when stock dwindles on certain hot items and they have to cover the uncertainty of refilling inventory. It looks a lot different than prices doubling within a week after every shooting or DiFi sneeze. I stick to my trusted dealers who have always been straight with their customers and understand their responsibility to the larger community and culture they are part of.

I am still not convinced that all this posturing isn't just smoke and mirrors, and we will be driving to work one day and hear on the news that "the assault weapon ban was passed yesterday in a late night session."
I don't see the Anti's backing down when they have the perfect scapegoat in the poor victums at Newtown. They will continue to disrespect the victums and push their agenda. I'm sure Mayor Blooming Idiot Bloomberg would be willing to start a pension fund for any senators or representatives that lost their positions because of supporting a ban.
I still won't believe it even if he does say it. I don't trust any of them. I've even seen the ones I liked and voted for go belly up on there promises. This is a subject that we need to keep our eyes on forever or he'll sneak something in and we will get the shaft. Sorry to sound so negative but JMO.

I think there's people who need to learn the true meaning of socialism, Marxism, and all of the other terms thrown around like so much confetti by Limbaugh etc.

No Guns, No Safety, No Peace.
Guns are like sex and air...its no big deal until YOU can't get any.
Not sure when this article was written. From the article:
In his public comments after the meetings, Biden — who President Obama appointed to lead the task force — did not mention an assault weapons ban at all as he discussed the work of the committee, which will be delivering suggestions to the president on Tuesday.
That has already happened. Biden did include an AWB in his recommendations and Obama is still pushing for it.
Or is this a new round of hearings by Biden's committee?
