I don't know if it will ever go back to normal at this point. It has the chance to, but they are fighting it tooth and nail to take away more of our freedoms.

Depends what you consider normal. Even if we don't see a ban on AR-15's (which I'm beginning to think we won't) you'll be lucky to find one in the next 2 years due to backorders needing to be filled and people just being on high-alert for them. Every morning there's a line of probably 4 or 5 people standing outside the Academy close to my office hoping to get their hands on one. Same goes for .223 and 5.56 NATO ammo.

I can't even find a Glock 19 or 9mm ammo right now, either. It's ridiculous.

Good luck on that. Things will go back to normalish, over the next 4-6 months. Expect to see prices a little higher than what they were, same thing happened in the 2008 election.

Remembering what happened last time, every chance I got, I bought an extra Glock 9mm mag. I have a substantial amount now.

I'm one of 'those' who has listed 8 of them in a local buy/sell magazine for $100 each. That will be a bargain if the ban passes. Like I told one guy, "I have Glock magazines - you don't."

It they sell, cool. If not, I still have lot's of magazines.
100 bucks for a magazine. Shafting your own kind now of all times.

    I'd sure be proud.

    Like I told one guy, "I have class-you don't."

Your opinion of me matters not.

Everyone should learn from the past when mags and guns were hard to come by like I did. Everyone has had to same chances to stock up.

You keep putting it off, you have to pay the price.

And, no one has to buy them.

If not, I end up with more for the next time there really is a ban.

The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. We have to pass this trait down to our children. Time to fire up the printer and print up some letters to the politicians representing my state. At this rate, the post office is going to love me.

BTW, I learned supply/demand theory and supply chain during basic economics in high school (late 70's).

It must not be taught any more...
