DOES THIS MEAN THINGS WILL GO BACK TO NORMAL
They'll not pass the ban, and I've been saying this from the start. Just not politically smart for any Republican, and most democrats. All they care about is their own jobs, PERIOD. Once the panic stops, we will be back to normal, though maybe priced a bit higher for awhile. I'll not shop at any of the stores/companies that jacked the price up on magazines, etc... As far as I'm concerned, they can go out of business. Taking advantage of that situation was wrong.
" But if you are authorized to carry a weapon, and you walk outside without it, just take a deep breath, and say this to yourself... Baa." Col. Dave Grossman on Sheep and Sheepdogs.
I will have to hear Obama say it before I believe it.
Hard to say. I remember when O was elected the first time prices went up on ammo and private sales as well for a bit.
Crazy will be the new normal for some time to come.
Maybe in 2016 it'll go back to normal.

The only common sense gun legislation was written about 224 years ago.
I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.
This is a battle...the war never ends. We've got 4 more years of this bozo, what makes you think he'll stop in a few months, or this year, or next year. The sad reality is the next one may be worse.
Know Guns, Know Safety, Know Peace.
No Guns, No Safety, No Peace.
Guns are like sex and air...its no big deal until YOU can't get any.
No. They have a lot of momentum. A LOT.
Seen the cover of the latest Time magazine?
Even if they back away from it right now, guys won't trust it.
That's why you will see M&P mags for 100 bucks a pop and Glock mags for 75 on the gun forum classifieds.
They have us eating our own.
I think the craze will settle down but no I don't think it "over" or it will go back to "normal" it will just be a new normal with higher prices
All I really want it to buy a few boxes of bulk .22 so my daughter can practice.. she starts back in shooting sports in March!
"NORMAL" keeps changing every week with the media, politicians, and this administration.

"Outside of the killings, Washington has one of the lowest crime rates in the country,"
--Mayor Marion Barry, Washington , DC .
I have heard the term "termites" used to describe the anti-gun people and they movement.
A perfect fit.

They haven't given up. I have the feeling that Holder's department of injustice is working on all sorts of ways to screw things up for us. There is no balanced scale of justice with him in charge. He and his boss regard the constitution as an inconvenience but not an obstecle. If he gets to appoint a Supreme Court Justice that replaces one of the 5 conservative justices, you can kiss it all goodby because the constitution will become irrelevant.
So no, nothing is going back to normal. The panic buying may slow down because there is nothing to buy, but that isn't 'normal'.

"It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master." Ayn Rand
We are in a prolonged political conflict, the likes of which has been in existence since the dawn of our republic. There are always those who are willing to usurp our founding document. Go back to United States v. Miller, 307 U.S. 174 (1939) and you can see the shadow of today's officials who are trying to infringe on the 2A.
We must always be vigilant and oriented toward preemptive action in defense of firearm use and ownership.
We will win the political war because we are right - and normal!
[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people. ---Tenche Coxe, The Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788.
Hate to bust your bubble Pat but when his mouth moves you know he is lying. Whatever he does you better watch both hands. The right one may be telling you one thing but the left one is doing whatever the hell he wants regardless of the Constitution of the laws of the land. The rest of this federal government, be it dems or repubs can be summed up with the statement " same of sh-t, different flies".
The stupidity of some people NEVER ceases to amaze me.
