He made great arguments, sadly this was from a hearing held in Hartford, CT not from the one held by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

I don't know why Mr. Ong apologized for English not being his first language, he speaks English much better that a number of US Senators I can think of.

Love this guy. and he made an awesome speech and I am impressed with his citation of evidence presented. One whom I would be proud to stand next to as a fellow American Citizen. Not born here but embraces our traditions and proud history as if he was.

His use of the word "your" bothered me a bit. He used it a couple of times. As a fellow American by choice, this is my nation.
Though that's possibly down to English being his second language.

I took it to mean he was speaking to the committee and not speaking generally. He probably also felt your was more appropriate as he was not born here too. I know a few people who still say "in my country..." when talking about where they are from but they are a citizen here.
