Glock 22 or 23
I currently carry a Glock 27 gen 3 as my EDC. I'm interested in a full sized glock and was wondering if any of you carry the 27 and own a full sized glock in the same caliber. I would like to stick with the dame caliber as I reload most everything I shoot and it keeps it simple and cheaper on the dies end. I also like the fact that the 22 and 23 mags will fit the 27.

Glock 23 is perfect and carry 22 mag with X-grip. Keep the 27 as a back up.

IMO, the G23 is the perfect size for carrying. You don't really gain much by going to the G22. I carry a G22 mag as a reload, if I happen to find myself in a really bad situation.

i went with the g23 gen 3 got it in november. it was between 22 or 23 and i would like a fullsize gun but the 23 you can conceal, shoot at the range. the 22 gives u 2 extra rounds and i will sacrifice 2 rounds for a smaller frame. if i was going to get a full size ill get the size bigger than the 22 not sure what number it is.

I like my G23. It's a good compact gun, just a tad large for concealed, but it still works. Like my subcompact better though. I'd go with the 23, because if you're in a shooting and the 27 is taken by the police until the case is cleared, or if you need to give it to a gunsmith for a few days, the 23 will be a good fill in as your EDC.

I have no need for a frame that's any longer than the 23; the 23 allows for me to get a full grip, any longer is a hinderance to concealment.
I would pick the 23.
No internal lock or magazine disconnect on my pistols!

I used to have a G23 and a G27 but have went to 9mm now. I have always liked the size of the Glock 27 for carry and have the Glock 23 for the house. I have had no need for the G22 size gun.But now I just stick with my G26 for all the time.
I always carry two guns daily.

I have all three and mostly carry the 23. The others do see carry time but, FOR ME, the 23 is the perfect compromise between size and concealability.
Stop whining and go make a difference!

Good choice. I have the 23 and 27. It's a good combo.
